Chromebook insurance is only $22 for the year and covers events of accidental damage, loss, and theft. The open enrollment period for Chromebook insurance closes on November 1st. Students will be bringing home their school-issued Chromebook for the virtual learning day on November 8th. With insurance, if your child’s device suffers any of the covered incidents, you will not be held financially responsible. Without insurance, if the Chromebook is lost, stolen, or damaged, you will need to pay the following fees: Asus-$246, HP-$100, Broken Screen-$40, Keyboard-$30, Webcam-$25.
